We think that a powerful electron gun project is very useful for our country. There is a possibility to increase the metal temperature to high values by a good focusing of the beam (10-1000 kW/mm2). We have obtained the knowledge for the ultra-high vacuum technologies, high power high voltage power supplies and electron beam dynamics for the project.

Fast and precise 3D metal printers, a CNCs and a metal welding devices, for example, can be developed by proper usage of the technology. These devices are widely used in aerospace, aviation and military industries that need precise devices. These technologies are only produced in few countries although the root of this technology goes up to 1960s.
